After high school I attended the University of MInnesota and earned my B.S. in Elementary Education. I taught one year in Kasson-Mantorville. Farmington Elementary was my next employment for 7 years. During that time I got married. We had 4 children, so I left teaching for a number of years to be home with our children.
We joined the staff at Camp Shamineau in Motley, MN, for 8 years (1991-1999). After camp life we stayed in the Staples-Motley area to finish raising our children. I went back to the classroom for the next several years. In December 2019 Paul and I moved back "home" to the Minneapolis area to be close to our children and our siblings. We love being back!
